Shengwen Cheng is a Sydney-based Cinematographer and Director of Photography working across narrative, commercial and branded content.

His work is driven by a strong interest in visual storytelling, movement and naturalistic imagery, with experience spanning short-form narrative, automotive, fashion, events and social campaigns.

Alongside cinematography, Shengwen works extensively with Steadicam and camera movement, bringing a practical understanding of both the creative and technical sides of production. His experience across shooting, lighting and post-production allows him to approach each project with a complete understanding of the filmmaking process.

He has worked on productions and campaigns for brands, as well as a growing body of narrative and vertical drama work.
